Lyris is the daughter of Seritues. Her strong-willed nature earned her the position of Captain of the Guard, but her sympathetic views on the kosar leaves her mistrusted by the senate.
A powerful Elder who is as expressionless as the rest of his kind.
An elusive member of the senate, who prefers the comforts of his studies than the open court and politics.
A capable senator and Bavus’ right-hand man.
A senator with no interests in the functions of the empire itself, Lord Stone is the creator of the kosar and is famous across the empire.
Commander of the Wielders. Andon is loyal to the empire and trains all magic users within Crystal Peak.
Also known as the garden of the gods, Luminous became the capital of the Red Empire upon the discovery of the Shadow Stone. A diamond so powerful it reshaped the fate of the world
The capital of Luminous, Crystal Peak was once an outpost built to protect the Shadow Stone. Upon realising the stone could not be moved a town that grow into a city was built around it.
The only original building in Crystal Peak, the Sunstone Tower was a large watch tower that is now the seat of the senate.
The largest building within Crystal Peak, the Great Cathedral was built around the Shadow Stone, where people come to worship such an item that only the gods could have graced humankind with.
Once the capital of Luminous, Amira is a prosperous trading city located on the Shattered isles to the south.

Mid way up the River Scar lies Lake Siris. Crystal Peak was built of the shores of the lake, which now hold its fleets.
An old mining town out in the desert that has long since dried up. The town still exists however but its population has dwindled.
